“Life Science Education Trust has been a true stepping stone in my professional journey. My vision, discipline, and understanding of animal care have developed over a period of time while being trained and shaped through the organization. My journey started from the keeper level and gradually progressed through responsibilities as Farm Manager, Head Keeper, and now Assistant Curator. This growth was not only about my designation, but about continuous learning, practical exposure, responsibility, and commitment toward animals and institutional development. LSET gave me the platform to understand animal husbandry, zoo operations, enrichment planning, behavioural management, welfare-based care, staff coordination, and ground-level problem solving. The training and exposure I received helped me develop a practical and welfare-focused approach toward modern zoo management. I have seen LSET grow in front of me, and at the same time, I have grown with it. The organization has played an important role in shaping my professional values, confidence, leadership, and vision toward animal welfare and conservation. My journey with LSET has also become a source of motivation and inspiration for many young individuals who aspire to work with animals. It reflects that with dedication, patience, hands-on learning, and the right guidance, one can grow from the ground level and contribute meaningfully to the zoological field. I will always consider LSET as one of the most important foundations of my career, where my passion for animals was strengthened, my vision was developed, and my professional journey was given direction.
